Educational Resources

Human beings are a product of experience, both our experience with the world around us and our experience within mind. For the sake of mental health, it is important that all humans are provided with sufficient education to enable effective (good) management of their own experiences, within the world and within mind. We have identified two main areas of society that are in need of specific education for the cultivation and maintenance of mental health; one is primary school education, and the other is prison education (we would say ‘rehabilitation’, but it is doubtful that anyone who makes it into prison had robust mental health education to begin with). This page currently has links to some resources for use in a Primary education setting, resources for a rehabilitation system will be introduced in time.

Introducing the “Minds Quest – Handbook for Mental Health”. We have taken the academic philosophy behind the “Handbook for Mental Health”, stripped it back to its essential concepts, and presented it in a form that is easily digestible by 10 – 12 year olds. It is our belief that all children, if not directly issued a copy of the Minds Quest Handbook by their school, should at least have access to a copy.
